General setup of Vehicles

When setting the Vehicles in your profile, I assume that I need to make my 5th wheel the primary vehicle since it is that vehicles weight and height that I need Roadtrippers to consider when planning a route. Since I can enter the MPG of the tow vehicle in the “RV, Camper, Motorhome” setup, it will give me the expected fuel usage.

If anyone sees and issues with my assumptions above, pelase let me know.

Hey there, you’re right! We recommend setting your RV as your primary vehicle so that your weight, height, and propane settings will be auto-applied to all the trips you create. You can save the MPG you get while towing, too, and we’ll use that to calculate the fuel estimate for your trips.
